The project
An editor that reads and modifies the game's binary save files right in the browser, with nothing to install. It builds on Christopher Hack's MIT-licensed editor and extends it.
What it does
It works with PC game saves and with Underground 2 Revived backups. Before downloading it shows the list of changes and keeps a copy of the original file.

Researching the format
It includes tools to keep decoding the file: a comparer that shows which bytes changed between two saves, a byte viewer and notes to document every area you discover.
